This Is Our Story

Erica and Matt Christensen

That's me and my amazing wife Erica. We are the proud owners of Lost Griz Aerodrome (LGA) and the fourth owners since flying began here at this property in 1936. We both grew up in rural communities of Montana and California and are happiest when we are outside working on a new project, tending a burn pile, playing with our critters or relaxing by the pond. We definitely feel blessed to be the current caretakers of this special place. Our vision for LGA is to build upon what those before us have done here. Our plans will make LGA more than just a beautiful grass airport to fly from, we will be bringing some amenities to the property that will make it a place for the whole family to enjoy. We also look forward to having accommodations for those that would like to fly in and stay at LGA. With our close proximity to Washington DC and the many historic sites and attractions in the area; our future guests will have the unique opportunity to fly in and stay at LGA, while visiting the many attractions in the region. If sightseeing isn't your thing, you can relax here and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views.  We have some fun things in the works, stay tuned.
